Caldo began with a question.

Why do we reserve the best things in life for special occasions?

For years, I found myself searching for moments of pause in increasingly busy days. A cup of coffee in the morning. A walk after work. A quiet moment before bed. I realised that it wasn't grand events that shaped how I felt—it was the small rituals I returned to every day.

Yet when it came to indulgence, the choices often felt divided. Products were either positioned as guilty pleasures or stripped of all joy in the name of wellness. I believed there could be another way. One where indulgence could be thoughtful, intentional, and deeply enjoyable.

In 2023, I founded Caldo with the belief that everyday rituals deserve exceptional products. What started with chocolate became a larger vision: to create products that bring warmth, comfort, and presence into daily life. Products that invite you to slow down, savour the moment, and reconnect with yourself, even if only for a few minutes.

The name Caldo is inspired by warmth. Not only the warmth of chocolate, but the warmth of a ritual, a conversation, a familiar routine, or a moment of stillness in a busy day. That belief continues to guide every decision we make—from the ingredients we choose to the products we create.

Today, Caldo remains rooted in the same philosophy that inspired its beginning: that the quality of our lives is often found in the smallest moments. Our mission is simple—to help make those moments a little richer, one ritual at a time.
