At Caldo Chocolate, we take great care in crafting, packing, and shipping every order.

As our products are perishable food items, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or replacements once an order has been delivered.

However, customer satisfaction is important to us, and we will review concerns related to damaged, defective, or incorrect products on a case-by-case basis.

Returns

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, we do not accept returns on any products purchased through our website.

This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality control, and customer protection.

Once an order has been delivered, it cannot be returned.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Taste preferences
  • Personal preferences
  • Incorrect orders placed by the customer
  • Products that have been opened, consumed, or stored improperly

All sales are final unless otherwise stated in this policy.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

  • Chocolate bars
  • Dragees
  • Gift boxes
  • Limited edition products
  • Promotional items
  • Subscription orders
  • Any other edible or consumable products sold by Caldo Chocolate

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive:

  • A damaged product
  • A defective product
  • An incorrect item
  • A product that appears unfit for consumption upon delivery

please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

To help us investigate your claim, please provide:

  • Order number
  • Photographs of the outer packaging
  • Photographs of the product
  • A brief description of the issue

Claims submitted after the stated timeframe may not be eligible for review.

Chocolate Bloom and Weather Conditions

Chocolate is a natural product and may occasionally develop white streaks or spots due to temperature fluctuations during shipping. This is known as "chocolate bloom."

Chocolate bloom:

  • Does not affect food safety
  • Does not affect quality
  • Does not affect taste

As bloom is a natural occurrence during transit, it is not considered a product defect and is not eligible for a refund, replacement, or exchange.

We recommend storing chocolate in a cool, dry place and refrigerating if necessary.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:

  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product arrived significantly damaged during transit
  • The product is confirmed to be defective or unsuitable for consumption at the time of delivery
  • The order was cancelled by Caldo Chocolate before dispatch
  • The product was lost in transit and confirmed undelivered by the courier partner

All refund requests are subject to verification and approval by our customer support team.

Refund Process

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Refund processing may take 6–7 days after approval.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional processing time may apply before the funds appear in your account.

Shipping charges, if applicable, may not be refundable unless the issue was caused by our error.

Return Shipping Costs

As returns are not accepted for consumable products, return shipping is generally not applicable.

In rare cases where a return is specifically requested and approved by Caldo Chocolate, we will provide instructions regarding shipping arrangements.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before they have been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
