It is well worth the effort.
Europe is famous for many foods and beverages, and one of the most delectable of those is chocolate. Switzerland and Belgium’s creations probably are the most famous, of course, but chocolate shops in several other European cities also are worth a visit. We have curated a list of seven unique shops you may want to visit next time you are in the area.

Last weekend I visited Alderbrook Resort and Spa which is situated right on the water near the south end of Hood Canal in Washington State. If you have never been to Western Washington State, we have an abundance of beautiful green trees, waterways that are fun to explore by ferry, sailboat, motor boat, canoe and kayak and don’t forget the mountains that when they appear out of the clouds are simply gorgeous.
It was a great experience to visit the island of Kauai, where the trees and plants grow lush and plentiful. The label as the Garden Island is fitting. As we talked about in last week’s blog post, cacao is a product gaining popularity on the Hawaiian Islands with many small growers trying their skills in this industry.
Hawaii has had a variety of different crops over the years; sugar cane, pineapple, macadamia nuts, coffee and now cacao is becoming a popular option to plant and harvest.
On this site, we love highlighting the talent of artisan chocolatiers around North America. Bean to bar chocolate makers are becoming more and more popular, providing even more options to you, a discerning consumer. Dandelion Chocolate is no exception.
